Sauna & Northern Lights

Relax in the warmth of a sauna while watching the Northern Lights dance above the Arctic sky. This unforgettable experience takes place on Gimsøya, one of the best locations in Lofoten for viewing the Aurora Borealis. Nestled on a sandy beach with panoramic views of the ocean and horizon, our portable sauna offers the perfect setting to unwind, soak in the heat, and—if you’re feeling adventurous—take an icy dip in the sea under the glowing night sky.

The sauna will be pre-heated and ready for you upon arrival, ensuring a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. It is placed close to the shoreline, so you won’t have to walk far if you want to take a refreshing dip in the Arctic waters. The location is carefully chosen to provide peace and tranquility, surrounded by nature—no noise, no distractions, just the sound of the waves and the whisper of the wind.
